RESCUE INFO
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Rescue is a great way to get involved with animals
especially if you don't have room for your own critters.
If you do have room, consider fostering dogs, cats, or horses.
The more foster homes, the more animals saved!
Check out the organization below or find one near you!
PetFinder.com lists animals from all over the U.S.
Woodstock is a great organization. They rescue and adopt out dogs and cats, and sometimes other critters that come their way. They have a spay and neuter clinic on Allendale Drive in Lexington.
Adopted animals are up to date on shots, spayed/neutered, and microchipped. They offer spay and neuter services at a reduced cost and have monthly shot clinics with shots for $10 each. They also have a mobile spay/neuter service. They coordinate with communities without affordable services. If interested, you can call Woodstock at (859) 277-7729. They are ALWAYS in need of foster homes so they can continue to rescue animals.
Remember! DON’T BREED OR BUY WHILE SHELTER ANIMALS DIE.
