In March of 2007, I decided to surprise Brad with a "fainting" pet goat.  I contacted Judy Balmer and decided one Friday morning to leave work with a friend and go pick up this little fella.  Willie and his brother were absolutely adorable!  He was born Christmas Eve 2006 and weighed 24 pounds when I brought him home.

When I took Brad in the barn to surprise him, he figured I got him a goat.  However, when I turned on the lights and he caught just a glimpse of him, Brad thought one of the does had kidded a huge kid!  All of boer does ended up kidding within a week of each other, so Willie had to share his stall.  After Belle was with him for a while, he thought she was mom, and she thought he was hers.  It was a very sweet 'adoption'.

Willie was 30 pounds as of August 2007.  Only one of the kids is smaller than him and it ain't by much.  He gets excited at feed time and if Brad drives the tractor near him, down he goes.
